It's springtime in the Alhambra. Nature has emerged from its torpor. The birds are singing. It's the season of love.

Ahmed, the Prince of the Alhambra, was raised in silence and ignorance of love so he wouldn't be saddened by the misfortunes love frequently brings with it. He does nothing but study in the Tower of the Generalife.

But, no longer able to stand that beautiful prison, he flees to Granada moved by a message of love brought to him by pigeon from someone called Blanca.
